Regional Directorate Anti-Corruption Sargodha Reclaims State Land

3rd October 2020, Baaghi TV: In the month of September, the Regional Directorate of Anti-Corruption Sargodha has reclaimed agricultural state land of 1177 kanals worth Rs 1,101,400,000.

The previous month, the Regional Directorate Anti-Corruption Sargodha had reclaimed Rs 38,813,000 of cash. The directorate also arrested 25 suspects including one absconders from the law. The directorate caught 3 suspects collecting bribery red-handed and took the amount from them.

According to details, Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha Babar Rehman Waraich issued the monthly performance report for September. Regional Director Babar Rehman said that according to the clear anti-corruption policies of Gohar Nafees, Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab, and the Punjab government, the directorate has sped up the accountability of corrupt elements without discrimination.

In the month of September, the directorate during an operation against illegal occupiers of state land, both agricultural and commercial, has reclaimed 1177 kanals of valuable land, valued at Rs 1,101,400,000. Apart from this, Rs 374,148 was recovered from defaulters of various departments and handed over to the treasury. The technical team of the directorate has also recovered Rs 1,399,019 in terms of state loss in various projects and handed it over to the treasury.

The Directorate Anti-Corruption Sargodha last month caught red-handed and arrested three suspects including a Grade 16 Head-Clerk of the Department of Minerals Khushab and recovered Rs 30,00 in bribes from them.
