Reshuffling of Chief Secretary Punjab raises serious questions: Lucman

Lahore, 1st June: Pakistan’s leading anchor Mubasher Lucman has pointed out that the process of constant reshuffling of the Chief Secretary of Punjab has begun to raise serious questions on the government.

According to a report of Baaghi TV, Mubashir Luqman tweeted on his Twitter account that if another Punjab chief secretary is replaced, that will be the fifth one in two years. If so, then the government should be asked tough questions.

It should be noted that earlier Major (retd) Azam Suleiman Khan had been removed from the post of Chief Secretary Punjab.

Former Chief Secretary may resume his post

Sources said that the decision to remove Chief Secretary Punjab Major (retd) Azam Suleiman was taken during a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and and CM Usman Buzdar. Jawad Rafique Malik was appointed the new Chief Secretary Punjab.

Similarly, the move to transfer Chief Secretary Punjab Azam Suleiman was challenged in the High Court. The Chief Minister Punjab, Secretary Cabinet Division, Secretary Establishment and others were made parties in the petition. The petition said that the ongoing policies in the province would be affected by the transfer of the Chief Secretary.
