Rhea Chakraborty arrested in drugs case
Mumbai, 8th September: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested in drugs peddling.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Rhea Chakraborty, the girlfriend of late Indian actor Sushant Singh, has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Police in a drug case.
The actress was being questioned for three consecutive days since Sunday. During interrogation, Chakraborty, who was in a relationship with a Rajput at the time of his death, apparently revealed details about the actor’s habits, including his drug intake.

As per reports from NDTV, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) started its inquiries based on Whatsapp chat retrieved from Rhea Chakraborty’s phone, revealing alleged conversations around procuring drugs.
On Tuesday, Chakraborty was questioned by the NCB for about five hours before being taken into custody following code of conduct.
Indian media claim that Rhea started crying during the NCB investigation when her brother was seated in front of her.
Indian media say that during the ongoing investigation into the drug case regarding Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case the actress was questioned for six hours on Sunday. During a lengthy interrogation at the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NBC) office, Chakraborty said she did not use drugs but smoked.

The drugs case is based on 59 grams of curated marijuana seized from two alleged drug peddlers and their alleged links to Sushant Singh Rajput.
Rhea Chakraborty is being investigated by three central agencies over allegations by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family that she exploited the actor for money, mentally harassed him and had a role in his death.
