Rihanna Becomes the World’s Richest Female Musician

World-famous Barbadian singer Rihanna has become the world’s richest female musician, and the second-richest female entertainer, standing right behind Oprah Winfrey, thanks to her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty.

According to reports, the singer has accumulated assets worth $1.7 billion, which converts to about Rs. 3 trillion. Her fortune has increased not only thanks to her music career but also because of her makeup brand, Fenty Beauty.

The singer, 33, launched Fenty Beauty in partnership with conglomerate LVMH (Christian Dior, Givenchy), which now acts as its parent company, with an emphasis on inclusivity and producing products for all kinds of women. The brand currently has 50 different shades in its foundation and concealer, making her company the first ever to have a special product line for black women.

Her brand earned a whopping $550 million in its first year alone, surpassing big names like Kylie Jenner, Madonna, and Kim Kardashian.

According to reports, the singer has become the first female singer ever to become a billionaire and the second-richest female entertainer in the world, right after iconic American talk-show host, Oprah Winfrey.

It is to be noted that Rihanna’s last studio album “Anti” was released 5 years ago, in 2016, however, she has announced that she is working on her next album which will soon arrive as a gift to her fans.
