LOS ANGELES: The Batman (2022) star Robert Pattinson is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend actress-model Suki Waterhouse.

According to E! News reports, the couple whose relationship has been relatively private so far, began dating in 2018, and are expecting their first child together. A source has confirmed that the news of their engagement is true, “They’re incredibly happy and excited for their future together as a couple and family”.

The couple first sparked rumors in July 2018, when they were spotted together in London however, they have always maintained a low profile rarely speaking about their relationship in public.

Before this, the couple sparked engagement rumors in 2019 when Waterhouse and Pattinson were spotted at a Dior dinner party in France. At the time, Waterhouse was reportedly seen wearing a ring that led to the speculation but the couple did not comment. In an interview with The Sunday Times earlier this year, Waterhouse remarked: “I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years“. She added, “I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I’m going back to see him”. According to sources, despite their busy schedules, the couple makes sure to prioritize their relationship by spending time together whenever they can.

In May 2023, the couple made their Met Gala debut as well as a public appearance at the Dior Men Fall 2023 show in Egypt. Then in November, Waterhouse announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Robert Pattinson. The news came with Waterhouse’s appearance at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City. “I’m extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on” Waterhouse informed audiences before adding: “I’m not sure if it’s working“.
