Lahore, 17th June: Accused of the Rawalpindi Ring Road corruption case were presented at the Anti-Corruption Headquarters.
Baaghi TV: The accused in Rawalpindi Ring Road Scandal appeared before the investigation team at the Anti-Corruption Headquarters on Thursday.
Anti-Corruption had summoned the former commissioner for Rawalpindi Ring Road Authority for inquiry today. Former Commissioner Rawalpindi and Project Director Ring Road Authority appeared before the investigation team.
It may be recalled that after the completion of the inquiry into the Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Muhammad Anwar-ul-Haq was removed from office.
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan had approved the Rawalpindi Ring Road project in September last year. The initial cost of the project was estimated at Rs. 25 billion.
