Lahore, 30th March: Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene a meeting in the next month for the sighting of Ramazan moon.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will hold its meeting on April 13 to sight the moon of Ramazan, 1442 AH.

Committee’s Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad will chair the meeting in Peshawar, as confirmed by a notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

It is to be noted that the Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri confirmed on Monday that mosques across Pakistan will remain open during Ramazan. However, worshippers will have to strictly follow the coronavirus SOPs set by the government in order to curb the spread of the pandemic.
