Turkish President Recep Tayep Erdogan said Russia’s decision to allow visa-free entry of Turkish citizen is a fruit of their friendly relations.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Turkish President Recep Tayep Erdogan said, “The Russian move allowing visa-free travel to Turkish citizens is a result of warm relations and dialogue,” while addressing a joint press conference with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad.
Turkish President Valdimr Putin has signed a decree which will allow the people holding Turkish passport to visa-free travel to Russia. Recently both countries have come close to each other by putting aside past differences as both countries have signed a defence deal, with Turkey buying S-400 missile system from Russia. Both countries have also increased co-operations in the war-torn Syria, where both countries have supported Syrian President Bashar al-Asaad in the deadly civil war.
