India begin World Cup campaign with victory over South Africa.
According to the reports of Baaghitv, India got off to a winning start in the quest for ICC World Cup 2019 as India defeated South Africa by 6 wickets.
Earlier South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first but the team could not post a good total as South African team manged to score 227 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 50 overs. Indian spinner Chahal was the best of bowlers as he picked five wickets in the match.
Chasing a target of 228, India scored 230 for the loss of four wickets in 47.3 overs, Indian batsman Rohit Sharma scored a century an got his team home in their first World Cup match.
