An Indian police officer told the media that during the attack, the accused tried to enter the premises of the house by climbing the wall from an adjacent building near Khan’s house. Initial investigations also revealed that someone helped the accused enter the actor’s house.

According to informed sources familiar with Baaghi TV, Saif Ali Khan has immigration in the UK and is keen to go to the UK soon. The sources also say that Khan has connections with the underworld and has close ties with drug smugglers. That is why after the attack on Saif Ali Khan, encounter specialist Daya Nayak, who is known for his anti-underworld activities, is also part of the investigation team, who will not only investigate the attack on Khan but also his links with the underworld.

The Bollywood actor was attacked with a knife multiple times at his house in Mumbai on Thursday morning. Daya Nayak was born in the 1960s in Udupi, Karnataka, to a Konkani-speaking family. He was the youngest child of his father, Badda Nayak, and mother, Radha Nayak. In 1995, Daya Nayak joined the police force as a sub-inspector and started his service at the Jai Ho police station. His rise to fame came in late 1996 when he killed two gangsters belonging to Chota Rajan gang in an encounter in Jai Ho. This action earned him respect and recognition in the police department. Since then, Nayak has had a successful yet controversial career in the police force. In 2004, the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act court directed the Anti-Corruption Bureau to investigate him. The investigation led to raids at six locations, including two in Bangalore. During the investigation, it was revealed that Daya Nayak had allegedly purchased two fleets of luxury buses, one in Mumbai under the name “Vishal Travels” and the other in Bangalore.
