India, 3rd July: Bollywood today woke up to the sad news of the demise of the veteran choreographer, Saroj Khan.

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Saroj Khan died at the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest in Mumbai today morning.

Ever since the news broke out, condolence messages have been pouring on social media by celebrities.

As per reports from Times Of India, the three-time National Award winner Saroj Khan was having breathing issues due to which she was admitted to the hospital where she left for eternal abode on Friday morning after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has very fond memories with Saroj Khan. According to Pinkville, Saroj Khan once disclosed how Salman Khan came to her rescue.

In a throwback interview to Mid-Day, Saroj Khan revealed that Salman Khan had once come to her rescue in her life when she had no work. She confessed that there came a time in her life when she had no work in the movies, and she wasn’t the one to go to people’s offices to ask for work as her work spoke for itself.

She told Mid-Day when Salman met her and she was getting no work in the movies, he asked her to visit his home. Ona asking about her activities, Saroj told him that she has no work and that she was teaching classical dance to young girls.

On hearing this, Salman assured her that she will work with him in his films. She even told the daily that she felt Salman will keep his promise.

Saroj Khan said, “When we met, Salman asked me what I was doing nowadays. So I told him honestly that I don’t have any work, and that I am teaching Indian classical dance to young actresses”. Upon hearing that, he said, ‘Now, you will work with me’. “I know he is a man of his word, so he will keep his promise.”

It was said that Salman and Saroj Khan collaborated on Dabangg 3. Previously, Salman and Saroj Khan worked on films like Biwi Ho Toh Aisi (1988) and Andaz Apna Apna (1994).
