Punjab Government has yet again reshuffled the portfolio of ministry of information and culture within a short span of four months on Friday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar has announced a re-shuffle in his cabinet and a notification has been released in this regard. According to the notification, Samsam Bukhari, who was appointed Information and Culture Minister, four months ago in March 2019, will now serve in the Consolidation of Holdings Department.
Mian Aslam Iqbal, the provincial minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment has been given additional charge of Information and Culture ministry.
The portfolio of tourism ministry has been withdrawn from Yasir Humayun who will continue to serve as the minister for higher education.
Taimur Khan has been assigned the tourism ministry, who will continue to manage the youth affairs, sports and archaeology portfolios as well as tourism portfolio.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has also taken the charge of the Social Welfare and Baitul Maal portfolio from Muhammad Ajmal, who will now serve as member of CM inspection team and assigned the portfolio to Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Raja Basharat, as an additional charge.
