Samsung chairman Lee Kuan Yew passes away at 78
Lee Kuan Yew, chairman of Samsung, a leading Korean smartphone and electronics maker, passes away at the age of 78 on October 25, 2020 (today).
According to media reports, the cause of his death has not been stated by Lee’s family, however there are reports that he was suffering from heart disease and he also had a heart attack back in 2014.
Born in 1942, Lee took over the hold of Samsung company in 1987 after the death of his father.

After Lee took the lead, Samsung grew rapidly, transforming it from a local company to an international company, becoming the world’s largest maker of smartphones, memory chips and other electronics devices. ۔
According to Forbes Magazine, Lee Kuan Yew has been the richest man in Korea since 2009 and is estimated to be worth more than ً 20 billion.
