Sanjay Dutt to resume ‘Shamshera’ shoot before his Chemotherapy

Mumbai, 8th September: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is all set to resume shooting for his film before his second cycle of chemotherapy.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Sanjay Dutt will resume shooting for his film ‘Shamshera’ for the next two days before he begins the second round of chemotherapy.

A source close to the development told ETimes that he is back on the sets of the film for two days after which he will again resume his treatment.

Sanjay Dutt’s second chemotherapy to begin soon

The source was quoted as saying, “Sanjay Dutt is back to shooting for ‘Shamshera’. He will be shooting for two days, after which he will go in for his treatment.”

The ‘Sadak 2’ actor has been diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer last month after suffering from breathing problems. Currently, Dutt is undergoing treatment for the disease in New York at a hospital where his mother Nargis Dutt also got admitted in her last days.

Where is Sanjay Dutt getting his treatment from?

The actor is reportedly done with his first cycle of chemotherapy session and is soon to begin with the second round. He has responded well to the first session. However, it is not known yet how many cycles will be required.

61-year-old Sanjay Dutt had taken a break from his career for his medical treatment, but reports say that the actor has geared up for the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Shamshera’ along with Ranbir Kapoor, and Vaani Kapoor. It is produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films. The film is written and being directed by Karan Malhotra.
