Saudi Arabia Hosts First International Film Festival Ever

Saudi Arabia, considered to be the most important country in the Islamic world, has hosted an international film festival for the first time ever in which actors from different parts of the world including United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), France, Egypt, India and Malaysia participated.

According to the details, leading showbiz personalities from around the world attended the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF), the first of its kind in the coastal city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. More than 135 films from different countries of the world will be screened in this unique film festival of its kind.

Most of the films presented at the film festival are in Arabic language, however, films in other languages ​​including English, French, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam will also be screened during the festival.

The upcoming Bollywood sports film ’83’ starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will also be screened at the film festival, but unfortunately no Pakistani film will be screened at the Red Sea Film Festival.

The red carpet event of the film festival took place on December 6, 2021, featuring French, American, Spanish, Egyptian, Moroccan, Emirati and Indian actors. The Red Sea Film Festival will continue till December 15,n2021.

Apart from screening of films, the 10-day film festival will also feature dance and art programs while talking to important personalities.
