Riyadh: According to the details of Baaghi TV, citizens of Saudi Arabia have been urged to boycott Turkish products.

As per reports, the Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Al-Ajlan, has given a strong response regarding the speech of the Turkish President. “In response to the Turkish government’s hostile attitude towards our leadership, our country and our citizens, it is now the duty of every Saudi citizen to boycott everything in Turkey,” he said.

Saudi businessmen and consumers should boycott all Turkish imports, investment and tourism. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reportedly criticized Saudi Arabia’s role in a recent speech to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. The Turkish President said that some countries in the Gulf region are targeting Turkey and are pursuing policies that are destabilizing the region.

Erdogan said that it should not be forgotten that the countries in question did not exist yesterday and it is likely that they will not exist in the future. However, we will always fly our flag over this region by the will of Allah.

Since that statement, the Turkish president has faced a strong reaction from Saudi Arabia. Regarding the boycott of Turkish products, economists say that if Saudi Arabia takes such a step, it will cause significant damage to Turkey. The move will affect Turkish exports, which could lead to a further devaluation of the Turkish Lira.
