Lahore, 8th August: Educational institutes across Sindh province will remain closed until Muharram 10, the provincial government announced its decision.

According to details, the Sindh government announced its decision on Sunday to defer the opening of educational institutions until Muharram 10, paying heed to the health department’s recommendations.

The Sindh cabinet, which was scheduled to meet today to decide whether the lockdown restrictions it imposed on July 30 should end tomorrow i.e August 9, or be further extended.

Hence, it has been decided so far to let the schools across the province remain closed for a further period till Muharram 10.

According to reports, it was proposed earlier to increase the opening hours of business centers with two days closed and wedding functions to be held in the open air.
These are the proposed ease in restrictions discussed between the Sindh government and National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) from August 9.
According to details, it was proposed during the NCOC meeting that the business hours should be extended in Karachi till 8:00 pm with two days completely off during the week.
Meanwhile, it has been proposed to allow holding wedding functions in Karachi in the open air with 200 guests in attendance.
