The Summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is starting tomorrow in the federal capital Islamabad.

A public holiday has been announced in Islamabad on the occasion. The Supreme Court, High Court, and educational institutions will remain closed. However, all hospitals, public health facilities in Rawalpindi and Islamabad under the administration of the federation will remain open.

The Federal Ministry of National Health has issued an instruction to the federally managed hospitals in this regard. An instruction has been issued to the heads of PIMS Hospital, Polyclinic Hospital, NIRM Hospital, Federal General Hospital. Instructions have been issued to the heads of Islamabad District Health Office, Rawalpindi TB Hospital, in which it is said that all health institutions will remain open.
