SCO Summit | Media Gallery set up for Foreign Journalists

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit is starting tomorrow in Islamabad.
Preparations for the summit are complete for which strict security arrangements have been made. Representatives of local and foreign media will also come to cover the meeting, for which a separate media gallery has been created, in which all facilities will be provided to journalists.
Facilities including internet, Wi-Fi and large LEDs will be made available in the media gallery. Arrangements have also been made for the food and refreshments of the visiting journalists.

In the Media Facilitation Center, modern facilities including computer lab, high speed internet, digital studio, podcast studio, media library, conference room have been provided and will be maintained by the Information Department.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar visited the special media gallery created for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting. On this occasion, Atta Tarar said that he reviewed the preparations of the facility center for the foreign media covering the SCO meeting to be held in Islamabad on October 15-16. “I am happy that the best arrangements have been made for everyone during SCO”: Atta Tarar.

On the other hand, the Islamabad Traffic Police has finalized the routes for the flow of traffic in the city. Traffic will be stopped on the express highway from morning to afternoon. Traffic will also be stopped on Srinagar Highway during afternoon and night hours. Citizens should avoid unnecessary travel to avoid any travel problems.
