Karachi: Pakistan beats West Indies in the second T20 match and claims the series for their country.
According to reports, Pakistan set a target of 173 runs to win the second match of the three-match T20 series. In the match played in Karachi, West Indies were bowled out for 163 in the stipulated overs.
According to details, Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first in the match being played at National Stadium Karachi. Captain Babar Azam was run out for just 7 runs. Fakhruzzaman also failed in the second match in a row and scored 10 runs off 5 balls and became the target of Aqeel Hussain. Pakistan scored 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Muhammad Rizwan scored 38 and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 32 runs.
For West Indies, Brendon King scored the most runs, King scored 67 off 43 balls, Romario Shepherd scored 35 off 19 balls while captain Nicholas Puran scored 26 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan did not make any changes in the team while West Indies made one change. In the first T20 played yesterday, Pakistan defeated West Indies by 63 runs. In today’s match, Pakistan defeated West Indies by 9 runs. The series of matches has made its name. The last match of the series will be played on December 16.
