Second wave of coronavirus would be deadlier
Lahore, 16th June: COVID-19 is becoming much more difficult and dangerous with every passing day. The genetic modification in the virus has made it even deadlier than in the past.
According to Pakistan’s leading anchor and a journalist Mubasher Lucman, by any means it is not at all a cheap or a simple disease, the expenditure for the treatment is way too expensive.
In his latest video, Mubasher Lucman gives an example of an American Michael Ford who was suffering from coronavirus and for his treatment, he was presented with a 181-page bill amounting to some $11,000.
Thanks to the health system in the US his treatment was covered otherwise this gentleman would have died of a heart attack if not by the disease.
Lucman says that imagine the plight of the less fortunate countries like Pakistan where the health facilities are not adequate and the public is not accustomed to Health Insurance nor does the government covers the medical insurance.
According to Lucman, August is going to be another peak and nobody should be having any fancy idea of fighting this off and the only solution is taking proper safety measures and maintaining social distancing.
The world is facing an economic crisis, countries like America, China, France, Italy, UK, and India are facing a tough time.
What China wants from India now?
The industrial production has gone down, the retail sector has taken head and the overall GDP of the countries is showing a negative trend.
Reduction in the overall production of the products and industrial decline is definitely going to put pressure on the labor force as the requirement for the labor would go down, the wages would reduce and so the unemployment would be on its high.
The second wave of the disease in Beijing which was considered to be the safest country in the world has raised concerns and alarms all over the world. If the second round of pandemic strikes, the economic turmoil would be even worse.
Lucman adds in his video that in the current scenario the approximate GDP growth for America is around 11%, for France it is 7%, for Germany it is 6%, for India, it is around 3.3 %.
If the second wave doesn’t hurt then the negative growth of Pakistan would be around – 0.334%. The figure shows that Pakistan is affected but in comparison to the rest of the countries, the negative number is less. The Pakistani economy is smaller in comparison to all these countries and the definition of GDP is definitely going to hamper the fight against this virus.

Lucman raises awareness that now is the time to show resilience to fight against the pandemic. We all should come out of this turmoil united and as a better unit, the overall performance of the government has to be lifted.
The world forces like China and the US are there to be followed and we have to take a lead from all the countries that are fighting this pandemic.
At the end of his video, Mubasher Lucman states that it is yet early to be excited on the development of any vaccine for this virus, the health experts are adamant to come up with a vaccine that can fight this deadly virus. The experiments have been conducted on animals and now on humans as well but it will still take a couple of months before the vaccine hits the market.
