Security High alert declared in Lahore: DIG
Lahore, 19th July 2020: DIG Lahore has declared a high alert at the entry and exit points of Lahore.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, DIG Operations Lahore has told the media on Sunday that security is on high alert in Lahore.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Ashfaq Khan said that the security officers and other personnel have been alerted to keep monitoring suspects at local churches for security.

The top police officer of Lahore instructed the department officers to monitor security arrangements at churches and other worship places in the city. He directed police officers to remain in touch with the management of Christian worship places in Lahore.
DIG has also ordered to deploy additional police contingents and snipers at churches and all the holy worship places within Lahore.

According to sources, the police are on high alert to combat any security threat to any worship places in Lahore. Churches are under strict surveillance which is more sensitive in view of security perspective.
