Selena Gomez and David Henrie reveal the surprise
11th August: The former Disney co-stars, Selena Gomez and David Henrie are going to have a mini-reunion later this month for the premiere of Henrie’s directorial debut ‘This Is the Year’.
There will be a live virtual premiere for the film on August 28, where TikTok stars such as Charli and Dixie D’Amelio will be moderating a conversation between Henrie and Gomez alongside the rest of the cast.
Other than directing the movie, David Henrie also stars in the movie and Selena Gomez is an executive producer. The film is centered around a student who road trips to a music festival to get a girl.

‘Lovelytheband’, is also being featured in the movie and they will perform in the film. Whilst announcing about the premiere in a video, Selena Gomez said, “A feel-good movie is just what we need,” she further continued that “This movie is all about change, a theme that couldn’t be more relevant in 2020.”
Tickets for the premiere are on sale now, a portion of the money earned will be donated to the PLUS1 COVID-19 Relief Fund.
