Selena Gomez makes a come back to TV
10th August: Selena Gomez has been cast alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short to star in Hulu’s comedy series ‘Only Murders in the Building.’
As reported by Hulu, “The series follows three strangers (Martin, Short, and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.”
Other than acting in the comedy series, Selena is also the executive producer alongside Short, Jess Rosenthal, and Dan Fogelman.
Pop sensation, Selena Gomez, who found fame after starring in the hit Disney Channel series ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’, is set to make a comeback to TV through this series, co-created and written by Martin and Hoffman.
Selena has starred in a couple of movies throughout her career but has not appeared as a lead in any other series since her Disney days. As of August 13, she has also been starring in her own cooking show which premieres on HBO Max.

Hulu initially announced in January that the series was in development, and more details were shared in June as the project received a straight-to-series order. However, as of yet, no premiere date has been released.
