According to the report of Baaghi TV, the news given by senior journalist and anchor person Mubashir Lucman on the official YouTube channel yesterday proved to be true.

Mubashir Lucman had quoted Pak-Saudi relations on YouTube channel as saying that the Saudi ambassador had met the army chief and had hoped that army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa would visit Saudi Arabia in the coming days.

Now this news has been confirmed by the news agency Reuters. The news agency said Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will visit Saudi Arabia this weekend.

Encouraging General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s visit on Sunday, two senior military officials told Reuters that Riyadh was angry at Pakistan’s criticism that Saudi Arabia was not doing anything about the Kashmir dispute.

“Yes, they are traveling,” Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar told Reuters. The visit was pre-arranged and focused primarily on military matters.

According to the news agency, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will visit Saudi Arabia on August 16. The visit will include meetings with Saudi officials.

Yesterday, Mubashir Lucman, a senior journalist and anchor person on the official YouTube channel Mubashir Lucman, said that it is also possible that Saudi Arabia will try to get Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to visit Saudi Arabia in the coming days.

On one page, Pakistan may have some flexibility after the Army Chief’s visit, but it is not possible for things to continue as they were before, if Saudi Arabia wants Pakistan to support them. Then Saudi Arabia must also support Pakistan.
