SereneAir suspends pilots with suspicious license on unpaid status

The management of Serene Airlines has decided to ground all pilots with suspected fake and “dubious licenses” without salaries.

According to the details of Baaghi TV, SereneAir have temporarily suspended the pilots with suspected fake degrees on unpaid status w.e.f June 29, 2020.

The pilots have been informed through an official email by the Human Resource department of Serene airlines which stated that the pilots will remain suspended ’till the suspected pilot license issue is resolved’.

As per the report submitted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), a total 1,934 licenses were issued to pilots of all airlines out of which 47 are from SereneAir. Moreover, the report said that 10 pilots are suspected of possessing fake licenses.

Suspicious license has become a big problem not only for SereneAir but for all airlines as it is becoming a cause of degradation of the country.

The government has decided to take strict action against all pilots who have been flying commercial jets without a licence.
