Several Air Force pilots resigned in Afghanistan

Fearing for their lives in Afghanistan, several Air Force pilots resigned.

Pilots in Afghanistan are reportedly leaving their employment in the Afghan Air Force for fear of being killed, according to British media sources.

On condition of anonymity, an Afghan pilot told British media that he knew 19 of his comrades who had just quit the Air Force because the Afghan government had failed to provide enough security.

In recent days, eight pilots have been killed in various incidents in Afghanistan. A car bomb blast in Kabul on Saturday killed Black Hawk pilot Hamidullah Azimi, and five others were injured in the blast.

Clashes between security forces and the Taliban continue in Afghanistan, and 361 Taliban fighters have been killed in 24-hour operations by Afghan forces in 11 provinces.

Afghan forces launched operations in 11 provinces in 24 hours, according to the Afghan Defense Ministry, including Nangarhar, Kunar, and Logar.

Taliban attacks in the capital Pul-e-Khumri were repelled, and the Taliban suffered severe fatalities, according to Governor Baghlan, while the Taliban claimed progress in District 2 of Pul-e-Khumri city.
