ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan in his message to the nation on the occasion of Ashura Day said that today is the 10th day of the holy month of Muharram and Muslims all over the world today are paying tribute to the great sacrifices of the Prophet’s grandson and his companions.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Muslims all over the world are remembering the eternal sacrifice of Imam Hussain. Shabbir(RA)’s passion ignites the Muslim tradition of faith and belief, truthfulness and principledness.

He said that it is the source of nurturing the eternal message of Islam and the eternal tradition of sacrifice.

The Prime Minister further said in his message that we should also pay tribute to the sacrifices of the people fighting Indian imperialism in Kashmir. The people of Occupied Kashmir, while upholding the truth, kept the Sunnah of Imam Hussain alive.

Imran Khan said that for some time now, Corona has been engulfing the whole world. With the help of Allah, timely action of the government has largely curbed the spread of Corona.
