Shafqat Mahmood clarified ambiguities regarding closure of educational institutions
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has denied the reports floating on social media regarding the closure of educational institutions.
According to the details, federal education minister termed the news of closure of educational institutions across the country as false.
He wrote on Twitter that news of the closure of educational institutions from October 15 that has been circulating on social media is not true. On social media, some people were spreading news from unofficial sources that the government decides to close institutions as the number of coronavirus cases is increasing.
Fake news being circulated on social media that educational institutions will be closed on Oct 15. No truth in this.

Furthermore, reports of a drop in school enrollment for the new session due to parents’ fear of the closure of educational institutions in the second wave of coronavirus is also spreading on social media.
