Shahbaz Sharif Lashed Out at the Government

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the parliamentary party, lashed out at the government.

Expressing regret, Shahbaz Sharif said that a tragic train accident had taken place in Ghotki, Sindh, in which precious human lives were lost and more than 100 people were injured. This is a very sad and heartbreaking event.

Shahbaz Sharif said that we extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the affected families. We pray for the deceased. May Allah grant speedy recovery to the injured.

Shahbaz Sharif said that today the country is once again in a very bad situation, the economic is ruined, unemployment and the worst inflation. On the other hand, the worst load shedding continues in the scorching heat.

He said that the government, guilty of mismanagement of electricity, has also opened colleges and schools. Children are fainting in extreme heat and load shedding but the government does not care. It seems that there is no government in the country.

He added that more than 13% inflation in food items, increase in debt, low tax collection are government crimes. Even after making everything expensive including Medical treatment, food, electricity, the government is still struggling. Jobs have been snatched away, yet the government continues to struggle.

The economic survey is a disgraceful mirror of the performance of the rulers in 3 years. People suffered from hunger, poverty and unemployment. In 3 years the nation has seen that they have been deceived and cheated.

Shahbaz Sharif said that after wasting 3 years, now it is being claimed that they have found the right direction. If they did not have direction in 3 years, when will they reach the destination?

3 precious years of the country were wasted. We will not waste any more time. All members should play their full role in stopping the budget prepared by the enemy of the people and the IMF.
