Sources further revealed that the Sheikh Rasheed also briefed the PM about the suicide blast at a Shia mosque in Peshawar that killed at least 59 people and injured close to 200. The blast had taken place at a mosque in Qissa Khwani bazaar in the Kocha Risaldar area of Peshawar.

Moreover, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed and the PM discussed the security parameteres concerning Australian cricket team’s tour to Paistan.

Australian Cricket Team will be in Pakistan for the first time in 24 years for a full tour, which could potentially lead to regular visits by top team who have largely stayed away since a 2009 attack on the Sri Lankan bus team in Lahore.
