Sherry Rehman Slams PDM Alliance

PPP Parliamentary Vice President Sherry Rehman has reportedly said that PPP has left the posts in PDM, we will not be part of any alliance that Dictate us.

Reacting to a joint conference of PDM leaders after a joint meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement, Sherry Rehman said, “We cannot be part of an alliance that dictates to us. PPP has resigned from PDM.”

She raised the question, “Have the PDM members resigned from the assembly seats yet?”

Referring to Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Shahbaz Sharif, Sherry Rehman said that those who are at the mercy of others are threatening us. Isn’t this an open contradiction?

Sherry Rehman said, “We have presented our conditions to the PDM leadership. Why should we go to the PDM when the alliance is founded by the PPP and we are accountable to the people and not to any political party.”

She added that neither party has the right to issue show cause notice to the other party and would work out the next course of action in collaboration with the Awami National Party (ANP).
