Shia Ulema Delegation Meets Interior Minister

Islamabad, August 19 (Online Int’l): An eight-member delegation of Shia Ulema led by Dr. Ghazanfar Mehdi met with Federal Minister for Interior Ijaz Ahmed Shah in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
The arrangements for Muharram were reviewed in detail in the meeting. Talking to the delegation the Interior Minister said special attention should be paid to ensure not only security but also follow the SOPs regarding coronavirus as much as possible during processions, and majalis.
The delegation thanked the Interior Minister and hoped that the month of Muharram would pass peacefully.
