Shoaib Akhtar says Pakistan team has the potential to win the T20 World Cup

Aug 4, 2021: Former Pakistan cricketer and Kashmir Premier League peace ambassador Shoaib Akhtar has demanded the Indian Cricket Board to reconsider its stance on the Kashmir Premier League.

Speaking on a program on a private TV channel, Shoaib Akhtar said that the existence of the league would be very important for Kashmir, the PCB should also try to include central contract players in the league.

Former Test cricketer Shoaib Akhtar said that Pakistan team has the potential to win the T20 World Cup.

Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar had predicted the final of the T20 Cricket World Cup and said that this time Pakistan would defeat India in the final of the World Cup T20.

In an interview to Indian media, Shoaib Akhtar said, “It seems to me that this time the teams of Pakistan and India will reach the final of the T20 World Cup, in which India will face defeat in the United Arab Emirates.”

Shoaib Akhat said that the UAE’s playing conditions and pitches will support both teams.

It should be noted that in all World Cups, Pakistan has lost 11 matches to India. The T20 World Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14. The T20 World Cup has been shifted from India to the UAE due to the global corona virus pandemic.
