Shoaib Malik becomes first Asian to complete 11,000 T20 Runs 

Pakistan’s most stylish batter, Shoaib Malik became the first Asian Cricketer to reach 11,000 runs in the T20 format. He is now the third cricketer after Chris Gayle and Pollard to reach this milestone. 

Shoaib Malik currently featuring in the National T20 Cup 2021 representing Central Punjab, he achieved this milestone batting against Southern Punjab in Lahore. 

He joins the elite list which only includes Chris Gayle (14276) and Keiron Pollard (11223) of the West Indies.

Shoaib Malik has played 442 T20 matches from 2005-2021, scoring 11014 runs at an average of 37+.

He represented Pakistan, Asia XI, Barbados Royals, Barbados Tridents, Central Punjab, Chattogram Challengers, Chittagong Vikings, Comilla Warriors, Comilla Victorians, Delhi Daredevils, Gloucestershire, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Hobart Hurricanes, ICC World XI, Jaffna Stallions, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Pakistan International Airlines, Peshawar Zalmi, Punjab Badshahs, Punjab Stallions, Rajshahi Royals, Sialkot Stallions, Uva Next, Vancouver Knights, Warwickshire and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited. 

It is to be noted that Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza are set to represent Pakistan in the official’s list of match officials for the upcoming T20 World Cup, starting from October 17, 2021 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman.
