Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Shoot out followed a dispute over property, during a funeral; it left eight dead while 17 people are reported to have been severely injured.
According to media reports, a fierce clash took place between two groups during a funeral prayer in Ming Dara area of Lower Dir. The police confirmed it to be over a property dispute. Both groups fired indiscriminately at each other.
During the shoot out, eight people were killed and 17 were injured in the clash during the funeral prayers. The injured were shifted to Temar Garh Hospital, while police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
Civilians took to Twitter to show their disappointment and concerns.
