Sikh community has written a letter to PM Imran Khan, inviting him to attend 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, the apex committee of Sikhism responsible for running the affairs of Gurdawaras worldwide has extended an invitation to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the auspicious occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nnank Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar are also invited on this occasion.

The celebrations will commence at Nankana Sahib from July 25. The strained relations between Pakistan and India have made it difficult for Sikh pilgrims to take part in religious activities however, the Kartarpur corridor which will be operational this November will serve as a path-way for normalizing the relation between two countries.
