Sindh Government issues new SOPs during Ramadan

Karachi, 24th April: Sindh is observing a sudden increase in the number of coronavirus patients after the lockdown in the province was eased.

However, the Sindh Government has announced the following measures during Ramzan to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

– Taraweeh and congregation prayers at the mosques are not allowed. People are ordered to worship at home.

– Sale of usual/traditional Iftari items is not allowed, there will be no stalls of samosas, pakoras, or sweet jalebis during Ramadan.

– Restaurants will open for home-delivery of food only from 5 pm to 10 pm. People are not allowed to leave their homes from 5 pm to 8 am.

According to the order issued by the Sindh government, if anyone violates the orders, then their activity will be stopped completely. The SOPs and the orders will be applied throughout the month of fasting.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had said that business would be open during Ramadan from 9 am to 3 pm on Thursday, and shops would remain open from 8 am to 5 pm.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah further said that a new business time SOP is being issued during Ramadan starting from today. We have to take more precautionary measures during the Holy month.
