Sindh Govt opposes NCOC’s decision

Lahore, 20th May: The Sindh government has opposed the decisions taken by the NCOC.

According to reports, the Sindh government has said that despite the opposition of the provinces, a relaxation in the lockdown was announced.

According to details, the internal story of the Sindh Corona Task Force meeting has come to light.

The task force said that in four days in Sindh, there has been a three-fold increase in coronavirus cases.

In such a situation, easing of lockdown is not possible. The rest of the provinces also did not support easing of lockdown.

Chief Secretary Sindh said that the representatives of the provinces said not to rush, they did not support yet Asad Umar decided to relax the lockdown.

It may be recalled that Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho in her statement on the video link at the NCOC meeting said that there is a fear of increase in cases due to return journey of people after Eid.

The Sindh Health Minister said that he had considered the decision to allow 70 percent of passengers in trains and also proposed to reduce the railway operation for 7 to 10 days.
