Sindh govt withdraws security from senior MQM politician

KARACHI: The Sindh government has withdrawn security from former federal minister and MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

According to the reports, the Sindh government withdrew the security of former federal minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and called the police personnel back.

The MQM Pakistan Coordinating Committee condemned the withdrawal of security and said that the withdrawal of security by the Sindh government was a biased decision.

The Coordinating Committee said that the Sindh government has resorted to biased decisions under the guise of political differences. The biased move of the Sindh government should be taken notice of.

MQM Pakistan says that the voice of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for the rights of Karachi and the struggle for the solution of the problem was not acceptable by the Sindh government therefore security has been withdrawn.

The Coordinating Committee said that after the withdrawal of security, if the Convener MQM poses a threat to Pakistan, it will be the direct responsibility of the Sindh government and the top leadership of the PPP.

The MQM Pakistan Coordinating Committee has demanded that notice be taken of the biased move of the Sindh government. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail should immediately take security measures for Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
