SARGODHA, July 18 (Online): A youth is alleged to have murdered his mother and given it colour of robbery to grab Rs 12000 Ehsas emergency cash.
The accused has pleaded guilty within ten minutes of police investigation.
According to police one Abdul Rehman, 23 resident of chak No 6 Bhalwal, received Rs 12000 under Ehsas Program in the name of mother. His mother asked him to return this money to her. Instead of handing over the money to his mother he took her to a deserted locality on his bike and stabbed her to death.
He informed the police that the robbers had snatched away Rs 12000 from her mother. This led the police to suspicion why the robbers had not snatched two precious mobile phones and cash amount of Rs 1300 from him during robbery.
Police investigated him and he confessed the crime of murdering his mother.
Police have arrested him and handed over dead body of victim to her family members after completing legal-medico proceedings.
