Song-Song Couple to Part Ways: Korean Herald

Lahore (27th June, 2019): High profile Korean celebrity couple Song-Song call it quits after two years of marriage.
According to the Korean Herald, Song Joon-ki has filed for divorce from wife Song Hye-kyo for “personal reasons”. Song Joon-ki filed for divorce through his management agency as confirmed by his lawyers. It was confirmed on Thursday, when Song Joong-ki’s attorney Park Jae-hyun announced that the divorce had been filed on behalf of the actor the day before.
The actors had met on the set of their hit drama, “Descendants of the Sun”. Their on-screen and off-screen chemistry was so strong that they ended up tying the knot in 2017 making their fans think of them as a fairy-tale couple.

However, as good all things must come to an end, and there is no better way to put it than E! News, “Be still, our hearts: One of South Korea’s fairytale celebrity romances has ended”.
Song Joon-ki has released an official statement through his agency, Blossom Entertainment:
“Rather than criticizing one another and arguing over who is to blame, both of us hope that the divorce process can be wrapped up smoothly”.
The divorce has been filed for court mediation with the Seoul Family Court, as confirmed by E!.
Song Joon-ki also said, “I ask for your understanding that it is difficult to go into details of my personal life. I will try to recover from the wounds and do my best to repay you through good productions as an actor”.
Moreover, a representative from Song Hye-kyo’s agency, the United Artists Agency, has also confirmed the news, stating:
“After careful consideration, actress Song Hye-kyo and her husband are taking the first steps toward a divorce”.
The representative continued to state that the, “the reason is differences in personality” which the two had tried to overcome unfortunately they were “forced to come to this decision”.
