SOPs for Restaurants’ Takeaway and Home Delivery

Lahore, 7th May: In order to curb the s[pread of the coronavirus, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued guidelines for the takeaway food service from restaurants and their home delivery services.

NCOC issued directions that the home delivery should be ensured through healthy and fit delivery boys, adequately supplied with masks and sanitizers and gloves.

The notification further said that takeaway does not mean permission to eat anywhere in front of a restaurant or public place in groups.

All restaurants and eateries are supposed to regulate the entry of those entering premises/indoors for placing orders. In case distancing is compromised manager of the restaurant will be held responsible

No person to be allowed to enter/place an order if he is without a mask.

Chai Points/Outdoor hotels/shawarma, burger stalls claiming to provide home delivery can only do so in disposable cups/plates with customers leaving the premises there and then.

The authorities further issued orders that action will be taken against those who are found seated at hidden places or gathered on personal vehicles.
