Speaker NA appoints 26 employees in defiance of rules, regulations covertly

ISLAMABAD, October 14 (Online): Speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar has appointed 26 employees on different posts covertly against the rules and regulations besides extending  contract of 19 employees.

Sources said this all was done when corona cases were on rise and the attendance of the employees was made thin in NA secretariat.

Zamir PS to Secretary NA Muhammad Tahir  got appointed his son protocol assistant against rules and regulations despite non availability of post.

The other employees who were appointed include Muhammad Asim, Qadir Khan, Adeem Khan, Shah Fahd, Abdul Mannan, Naveed Iqbal, Nadim Shah, , S Ali Anwar, Amjid Aslam,, Samarqand, Shabbir Raza, M Qasim, Tariq Ali,Imtiaz Ali, Amjid Ali, M Saud, Saifur Rehman, Muhammad Kamran, Sajjad Ali, M Ramzan, Muhammad Zahir, Zubair, Zee Waqar Hussain and Zafar Iqbal.

They were recruited against the posts of BPS 1 TO 15 during the period of May and June 2020.

The sources said earlier they were appointed on contract basis and later approval was given to regularize them .  Against these recruitments and posts neither any advertisement was given in the news papers nor any interview or test was held.  On the other side the speaker NA appointed them on the recommendations of different members of assembly from PTI and from his constituency Swabi.

The employees who were working since the long time neither were regularized nor were promoted.

19 employees are those whose contract has been extended for further 89 days.  They are Sana Iftikhar,, Javeria Batool,,                 Qamar Zaman Abbasi, Jawad Abbasi, Yasir Khurshid, Syed Mohsin Imtiaz Sabzwari,, Luqman Saif, Abdul Rehman, Nabeel Riaz, Hassan Ali, Ali Raza Arshid, Sami Ullah, Fazal Qadir, Qadir Akram, Mir Waiz Khan, Muhammad Saad, Salim Shah, Faraz, Fayyaz and Muhammad Zubair.

Sources said speaker NA has brought with him some officers on deputation who are his relatives. Speaker has inducted them in speaker chamber.
