Dr. Faisal Sultan said that the supply of vaccines in the country is being done in a timely and strategic manner. Corona vaccination of people above 40 years of age is going on from today. The world’s largest companies, Pfizer and Moderna, are also finding it difficult to meet the demand for vaccination of 70 million people by the end of the year.
Announcing this, Dr. Faisal Sultan said that with the cooperation of China, we will soon start the process of making vaccine in Pakistan. China has played a key role in providing consultation on vaccine technology, and 100 million people in Pakistan are eligible for vaccination. The first dose of vaccine was given on January 2, while in India it was given on January 16. 2.5 million people across the country have been vaccinated against corona, 30 million doses have been agreed upon. Millions of people are eligible for vaccination.
If vaccine is available, people will be able to buy it. The government started the process of vaccination with an integrated strategy. By June, another 19 million doses of vaccine will be received. The strategy of buying and vaccinating vaccines has been successful so far. The population is vaccinated, about 100 million people can be vaccinated, the rest are under 18 years of age.
