Lahore, 21st September: Special flights arranged by Pakistan International Airline (PIA) for Arbaeen to Iraq have been postponed.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the Iraqi government has revoked the special permit due to a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

PIA announces special flights to Iraq on the occasion of Arbaeen

The Iraqi government has decided to stop the flights in order to contain the rush in Najaf and Karbala during the religious ritual Arbaeen.

In this regard, special flights of PIA which were scheduled to start from September 27 are being postponed.

COVID-19: 600 plus cases reported in a single day

PIA spokesman informed that all the guests who have made a reservation will be able to get a refund without any deduction.

He also lends apologies for the inconvenience caused to the guests, on behalf of the PIA organization.
