SRK’s ‘Mannat’ deserted on his special day
Mumbai, 2nd November: King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan celebrated his 55th birthday today. But despite King Khan’s special day, the celebrations looked dull as compared to the previous years.
Baaghi TV: Shahrukh Khan also referred to as the ‘Bollywood Badshah’ celebrated his 55th birthday with his fans virtually today.
Usually, his home ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai is surrounded by throngs of fans to with him on his birthday, but this year things looked completely different.
Shahrukh Khan’s any diehard fan would know and tell you the usual situation outside ‘Mannat ‘where things get wild and chaotic since midnight. Every year on the superstar’s birthday eve, throngs of fans block the entire stretch near his home, waiting to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to the actor as he waves to them from an extended roof in true ‘Badshah’ style.
However, for the first time, his home looked deserted from outside. Indian media reported that owing to the pandemic, fans were unable to keep up the tradition, and the road leading to ‘Mannat’ was completely deserted last night.
It has been reported that King Khan himself has requested his fans to wish him a happy birthday from a distance due to the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.
He said, “Please I recommend nobody should gather in crowds. My birthday or wherever!” And it sure looks like his wish is their command.
