Stone constructions discovered in Saudi Arabia that pre-date the Egyptian Pyramids
May 3, 2021: Stone constructions discovered in northwestern Saudi Arabia, known as ‘rectangles’, have been dug before Egyptian pyramids, according to a research team.
BaaghiTV: In this regard, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan said in a tweet that these gigantic buildings in the last period of the Stone Age are more than 7000 years old.
Major archaeological discovery in northwestern Saudi Arabia confirms that the huge stone structures (rectangles) are among the oldest in the world (more than 7,000 years old). https://t.co/zVfmeKnzM4

According to Arab News, the discovery of archeology has revealed that these rectangles are among the oldest monuments in the world.

6/ You’d likely enter a mustatil through an entrance in the base, leading into the courtyard. These were generally very small, only 30-50cm in width. Certainly, access was single file and no large animals would have been able to fit through. pic.twitter.com/VyHQZdJbDV

The Royal Commission for Higher Education (RCU) has dubbed the discovery a ‘rectangle’. Although everyone already knows about the existence of these rectangles, new research has doubled their number. There are about a thousand of these.
Round or semicircular cells are formed at the base of the outside of the main entrance of each rectangle. Research shows that these rectangles cover an area of about 200,000 square kilometers. These rectangles look identical, which shows that they belong to the same age.
5/ We also often find unusual I-shaped structures near mustatils. At present, we are unsure of what these features were used for. pic.twitter.com/kqUXFL8Rxr

4/ The base of the mustatils often have circular/semi-circular cells constructed outside the main entrance. These cells generally had large orthostat stones placed inside them. Where the stone wasn’t suitable for this, they stacked stones to create pillars. pic.twitter.com/YHdoDTztAM

13/ We were fortunate that other colleagues at @oatweet and Wael Abu-Azizeh have also excavated mustatils (Publications forthcoming) which has helped us greatly with our research. See what they found in the documentary Architects of Ancient Arabia https://t.co/Khc0lYGV9p

Research on the discovery is part of the University of Western Australia’s project in the provinces of Al-Ala and Khyber, which is part of the RCU’s archeological program.
“We consider it a memorable landscape,” Melissa Kennedy, an archaeologist and co-author of the research at the University of Western Australia in Perth, told NBC Television.
He said that they have been found in an area of more than 200,000 square kilometers and they are very similar in shape. So maybe their beliefs or understandings are the same.
