Students Association J&K condemns thrashing of Kashmiri Youth

The Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) Students Association here Friday condemned the attack on Kashmiri Youth who was brutally thrashed by a group of 12 goons at Sector 44 area of Gurgoan in Haryana State.

In a Statement, Spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami urged Home Minister Amit Shah, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and J&K LG Manoj Sinha for action against the accused and further security to the Kashmiri youth studying and working outside.

He said, Tariq Ahmad Bhat is working in Policy bazar, a Corporate Company as Financial Advisor from Two years is hailing from Handwara Kashmir was mercilessly thrashed, he was knocked down and was punched on his face & stomach. He was beaten to pulp. Though he tried to escape and run way, but he could not, Khuehami said after intervening into the matter.

Spokesperson said that these incidents have increased the sense of insecurity and anxiety among Kashmiri youth studying and working outside as well as among their parents and relatives in Kashmir. He Called upon the state and the central government to take effective measures to prevent such happenings and adress the waning sense of security among the Kashmiri students and workers living in mainland India.

Junaid Rather, Vice President of Association said that, Association demands immediate arrest of all those involved in the assault on Kashmiri youth and ensure adequate arrangements for safety, security of the Youth. The Attack on Kashmiri youth by some goons is a worrying factor for the students, youth who are working in mainland india and parents. We demands punishment and arrest to the elements involved in beating and harassing of the Kashmiri youth for no reason.
