The notice issued by the FIA ​​said that Jahangir should appear in the highest personal capacity. The investigation team is investigating 4 major allegations against Jahangir Tareen. Jahangir Tareen is accused of corporate fraud of more than Rs 15 billion. Jahangir Tareen was directed to bring all the necessary documents in the notice. These allegations were leveled against Jahangir Tareen by the Sugar Commission in its report.

Host anchor in the private TV Geo program said that the investigation team had asked Jahangir Tareen for details of buying the assets of his own family-owned company through JDW. Regarding this allegation, the Sugar Commission report claimed that Jahangir Tareen’s company had committed corporate fraud of Rs 3.10 billion. According to the report, Jahangir Tareen inflated the price of his own company and then paid it to the public limited company, ie the shareholders were harmed.

Details have been sought from Jahangir Tareen regarding an investment of Rs 3.10 billion in Farooqi Pulp Limited, an inactive JDW company. Jahangir Tareen has been asked to explain about the withdrawal of Rs 2.5 billion in cash from a public listed company through his employee. The JIT has also been asked to provide details of the transfer of Rs 7 billion from Jahangir Tareen to JDW’s Dharki Sugar Mill.
